Group classes in the pool

Group swimming lessons in the pool at the MCRN are a format of water training for a group of toddlers and older children. This approach combines the benefits of physical activity with the effect of teamwork and socialization. Children learn to perform exercises together, support each other and feel team spirit. In the aquatic environment, even complex movements are easier, and the collective atmosphere creates a feeling of joy and play. Training is conducted by experienced specialists who take into account the age, health status, parents' requests and the individual needs of each child.

Toddler swimming groups for children from 0.4 to 4 years old:
-3 children in a group;
-Format “child in the pool with one of the parents” accompanied by a coach;
-Duration – 30 minutes;

Swimming groups for children from 4 to 6 years old:
-3 children in a group;
-Format “child in the pool with one of the parents” accompanied by a coach;
-Duration – 45 minutes;

Swimming groups for children from 6 years old:
-Training takes place in a group of 5 to 15 children;
-We form groups by age so that children are comfortable together;
-The class is conducted by an experienced trainer, each child is given attention and an individual approach;
-Duration – 45 minutes

A reminder for parents when visiting the pool:
For the safety of our little swimmers and compliance with hygiene rules, we ask parents to have with them for their child before class:
✔Swimsuit / swimming trunks;
✔Swimming cap;
✔Special diaper for swimming;
✔Towel or bathrobe;
✔Rubber slippers;
✔Bottle with water;

Required documents for visiting the pool:
For the child:
-A certificate from a pediatrician or family doctor about the state of health and the absence of contraindications for swimming in the pool. This includes an analysis/scraping for enterobiasis (a referral for analysis is taken from a pediatrician). The analysis (certificate) is valid for 3 months.

If the parents will enter the pool with the child:
-For the mother: a certificate for the pool from a gynecologist (valid for 1 month) and a certificate for the pool from a dermatologist (valid for up to 3 months);
-For the father: a certificate for the pool from a dermatologist (valid for up to 3 months);
All referrals to a dermatologist and gynecologist can be obtained from a family doctor.

Important:
✔If a child comes without a mandatory list of things or a certificate, he/she will not be allowed to attend the class. If such cases are repeated more than 2 times - registration for the class is carried out only with a preliminary subscription, or the class is counted as completed;
✔The child must be healthy - without colds and infections;
✔A light meal is recommended 1–1.5 hours before the class in the pool;
✔If an adult visits the pool with the child, it is also necessary to have a swimsuit/swimsuit, a pool cap, a towel or bathrobe, rubber slippers;

Duration of the class:
-Actual time in the water 30 minutes - total time in the pool 40 minutes (technical aspects are taken into account: changing clothes and organization).
-Actual time in the water is 45 minutes - total time in the pool is 60 minutes (technical aspects are taken into account: changing clothes and organization).

When group classes are recommended:
✔Toddlers for general development;
✔Children who have a basic level of training and can work in a team;
✔To develop communication and social skills;
✔When it is important for a child to learn teamwork and the ability to follow the rules;
✔As the next stage after individual or split classes;
✔For children who need more physical activity and positive emotions.

What are the benefits of group classes in the pool?

How the class is conducted:
1.Group organization: the coach introduces the children, creates a positive atmosphere.
2.Warm-up in water: light movements and exercises to prepare the body.
3.Main block: exercises for strength, coordination and endurance in the format of games, relays, synchronized movements.
4.Team tasks: pair and collective games to develop interaction and support.
5.Finishing: breathing exercises, relaxation and positive summing up.

Contraindications:
-Acute infectious and skin diseases;
-High body temperature;
-Uncontrolled epileptic seizures;
-Serious cardiovascular and respiratory pathologies in the acute stage;
-If the child has indications for individual classes (the decision is made by the doctor or coach).
