Logomassage is a specialized technique used to correct speech disorders through the manipulation of the muscles involved in speech articulation. Logomassage helps improve muscle tone, mobility, and coordination, which are essential for speech formation. Types of Logomassage:

How the Session Works:
1.Child’s assessment: The speech therapist conducts a diagnostic evaluation of the articulatory apparatus, assessing muscle tone and mobility.
2.Preparatory stage: Light articulation exercises aimed at relaxing or activating muscles.
3.Main stage: Targeted impact on the tongue, lips, and chin muscles using specific techniques, massage devices, probes, or manual methods to stimulate muscle activity.
4.Consolidation stage: Speech therapy exercises to automate sounds, develop fluency in speech, and improve communication skills.

Contraindications:
-Acute infectious diseases, fever
-Skin conditions, inflammation, or lesions in the area of the articulatory apparatus (herpes, stomatitis, conjunctivitis, oral cavity damage).
-Epilepsy during an active seizure.
-Severe emotional disorders in the acute phase.

A standard course of logomassage usually consists of 10–15 sessions. The break between courses should be around 2 months. Success depends on the regularity of the procedures, so it's important to follow the schedule agreed with the speech therapist.

Sterilization of tools for probe massage at MCRN involves the following steps:
✔Mechanical Cleaning:
-After use, tools are washed with warm water and a special disinfectant solution.
-Biological residues (saliva or other contaminants) are removed.
-Tools are thoroughly rinsed with clean water.

✔Disinfection:
-Tools are immersed in a disinfectant solution that meets medical safety standards.
-The disinfection time is specified in the instructions for the solution, typically 30+ minutes.
-After disinfection, tools are rinsed with sterile water to remove any residue.

✔Sterilization:
-Tools are placed in a dry heat sterilizer, where they undergo sterilization under high temperature and pressure.

✔Storage:
-After sterilization, tools are placed in sterile craft bags.
-They are stored in a designated area until use.
